Fall Mentoring Program Application Intention

We are excited to announce that our next AbbyPD Mentoring program will be 8 weeks!

Funded by the Abbotsford Police Foundation, the program has had wide success in identifying those interested in the Abbotsford Police Department and guiding those through road mapping their way to success! Many of our previous students have gone on to become Reserve Constables, Operational Support Officers and Recruits with the APD.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

Do you have aspirations to become a police officer or an Operational Support Officer with the Abbotsford Police Department?
Have you graduated high school and are between the ages of 17yrs-22yrs?
Are you of exemplary moral and ethical character, mature and have a willingness to learn?

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Resume + cover letter 
Full paperwork complete
Physical fitness test: 2.4km (1.5 mile) run.
Suitability + Selection Interview

We will be seeking 16 students for our next program which will be running:
Tuesday nights + Saturday mornings
Tuesdays: Oct 15, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec 3
Saturdays: Oct 19, 26, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30,  Dec 7
