On Thursday May 14th, 2020, two Abbotsford Patrol officers responded to the 2100 block of Ware Street for a domestic assault involving an intoxicated female as the suspected aggressor.
Upon arrival, responding officers located the female leaving the area. When officers attempted to detain her, she struck one officer in the face, drawing blood. A struggle ensued, during which the female kicked, scratched and bit the officers.
One officer received medical treatment at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for a concussion but has since been discharged.
A 17-year-old Abbotsford woman has been charged with two counts of Assaulting a Police Officer.
