Early this morning, March 13th, at 12:36 a.m., emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision in the 32200 block of King Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a heavily damaged pickup truck that had struck a telephone pole and flipped over. The two occupants of the truck were noted suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite the immediate efforts of civilians and first responders, both occupants tragically succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The investigation is in its early stages and is being conducted by AbbyPD Patrol Officers, with support from the Integrated Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Service (ICARS). King Road remains closed between Clearbrook Road and Columbia Street.
