On Friday, August 30, 2024, at 6:53 a.m., AbbyPD officers responded to a reported collision at the intersection of Mt. Lehman Road and Marshall Road Extension in Abbotsford, BC.
Upon arrival, officers located a pickup truck in a ditch. The driver and sole occupant, identified as a 42-year-old male, appeared to have sustained life-threatening injuries. Despite immediate efforts by first responders, the individual unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Marshall Road Extension, between Peardonville Road and Mt. Lehman Road, will remain closed as AbbyPD officers, along with the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (I.C.A.R.S), gather evidence to determine the factors leading up to the incident.
