AbbyPD investigating shooting incident on Yukon Crescent

Last night, at 11:19 pm, police were called to the 33000 block of Yukon Crescent for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a residence that had been shot at.  There were several adults in the residence at the time of this incident; fortunately, no one was injured.

This afternoon, at approximately 12:50 pm, AbbyPD Patrol officers patrolling the Whatcom Road area observed a Honda Civic which license plates did not match the vehicle.  With the assistance of the Air 1 Helicopter, police were able to surveille the Honda until it parked in a driveway in 2900 block of Lefeuvre Road.  The driver exited the vehicle and walked away.

Police asking public’s assistance in locating lost hiker in Sumas Mountain Park

The Abbotsford Police are asking the public’s assistance in locating missing hiker, Mr. David Harper (60 years old), last seen in Sumas Mountain Park heading to the cellular tower trail yesterday afternoon at 1 pm.  Mr. Harper was hiking with his wife; but they separated when he decided to hike further, and she went back to their vehicle.

Police Investigating a Stabbing on Fairlane Street

This morning, just after 1:00 am, Emergency Services were called to the 2700 block of Fairlane St for a report that a 25 year old male had been stabbed during a domestic dispute.  The male has been transported to hospital where he has been admitted for serious injuries.  AbbyPD have arrested a 24 year old female for aggravated assault and she remains in police custody.
