Traffic Reconstruction Unit investigating collision involving motorcycle
Last night at approximately 8:00 pm, Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to the intersection of Clearbrook Road and Sherwood Road for a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The motorcyclist hit a sidewalk curb, lost control of the motorcycle, and struck a light standard.
The motorcyclist, a 42 year old Abbotsford man, was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The intersection was closed until 5:00 am today, as the Abbotsford Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit and patrol officers conducted their investigation overnight.
