Today July 18th, 2022, at 04:37 am, Abbotsford Police Patrol Officers responded to shots-fired call within the 34700 block of Townshipline Road. While en route, one patrol vehicle was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision in the 33600 block of George Ferguson Way, resulting in an impact with a concrete wall.

Last evening, May 25th, at 10:30 pm, the AbbyPD Patrol Officers responded to a 911 call of an assault within the 32900 block of South Fraser Way. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from serious life-threatening injuries.

Abbotsford Police had issued a media release asking for the public’s assistance in locating a young female, Tatyana Hill who was in the company of a male, Daniel Ames.
This afternoon, a heads-up citizen observed Daniel Ames and Tatyana Hill in West Vancouver and they called 911.

Today, May 9th, 2022, at 10:26 am, the Abbotsford Police Department responded to the 33600 block of Arcadian Way, for a discovery of two deceased adults within a residence.
Earlier today, April 29th, a 24-year-old man attended the Abbotsford Police Department and identified himself to investigators as the driver involved in the Hit & Run. Police have also located the vehicle involved.

Today, April 28th, AbbyPD investigators are releasing a video of the suspect vehicle involved in the collision. The vehicle is described as a light-coloured, early 2000s Toyota 4Runner with a sunroof. Investigators are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle.

On April 26th, at 11:59 pm, AbbyPD Patrol Officers responded to a Hit & Run collision involving a pedestrian along Hillcrest Avenue at Clearbrook Road. The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located a 38-year man suffering from life-threatening injuries.

On April 26th, 32 year old, Michael Scott Dunlop, of Abbotsford, was arrested and charged with Aggravated assault, unlawfully discharging a firearm, pointing a firearm, & possession of a firearm without a licence. Mr. Dunlop remains in custody pending his next court appearance.

On April 24th, at 4:18 pm, AbbyPD responded to reports of an intoxicated, assaultive passenger on a BC Transit Bus which was proceeding westbound on Highway 1 at Whatcom Road. While police were en route, passengers on the bus stepped in and assisted with restraining the suspect until police arrived.

On April 15th, at 8:26 pm, AbbyPD responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a local gas station in the 32400 block of South Fraser Way. A lone male suspect in his 30’s, wearing dark pants, a light-coloured shirt and a grey hat, entered the store with his face covered, displayed a firearm and obtained money before departing the area on foot.

On April 10th, at 10:47 am, AbbyPD Patrol Officers responded to the 1700 block of Clearbrook Road for a report of a female lying on the roadway. Upon arrival, a 50-year-old female was located suffering from serious life-threatening injuries after exiting a vehicle while it was in motion. The female was transported to the hospital by air ambulance.

Today, April 4th, 2022, at 08:35 am, school administration from St John Brebeuf Secondary School contacted the Abbotsford Police Department advising that a bomb threat to the school was received.
