*Definitions

Intimate Image – a visual recording of a person made by any means, including a photograph, film of video recording,

• in which a person depicted in the image
  • is nude, or is exposing his or her genital organs or anal region or her breasts, or
  • is engaged in explicit sexual activity;
• which was recorded in circumstances that gave rise to a reasonable expectation of privacy in respect of the image; and
• if the image has been distributed, in which the person depicted in the image retained a reasonable expectation of privacy at the time it was distributed (From the Criminal Code of Canada)

Sextortion – a form of sexual exploitation that employs non-physical forms of coercion to extort money or sexual favors from the victim.  Sextortion also refers to a form of blackmail in which sexual information or images are used to extort sexual favors from the victim.

Sexploitation - the commercial exploitation of sex, sexual attractiveness, or sexually explicit material.
